ROLE Magazine publishes our true, verifiable readership information so you can clearly see the value in advertising with us. We understand it is important for you to maximize your advertising budget and we know everyone is best served when substance is offered in place of hype. We like to refer to this ground-breaking initiative as Truth in Advertising.

Why is ROLE Magazine’s Truth in Advertising initiative ground-breaking? Online readership numbers on platforms such as Issuu are easy to prove but, in-world readership numbers are easy to manipulate and it’s nearly impossible to prove the numbers are legitimate. Our online format uses the Issuu – You Publish platform which provides detailed stats on the number of times our magazine was read by a unique person and the number of times every single page was viewed.

How can anyone know that an in-world magazine delivered to group members by an automated system (such as Subscribe-O-Matic) will be read or even opened? Does every click on an in-world magazine kiosk count as a reader? It is way too easy to artificially inflate in-world readership numbers by clicking a magazine kiosk over and over again.

ROLE Magazine will stick to readership numbers and claims we can prove. We hope you’ll find our approach refreshing and remember the old adage: “If it sounds too good to be true it probably is!”
